Turkey: Erdogan Planning U.S. Visit

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to visit the United States to conduct bilateral talks with U.S. President George W. Bush about terrorism and the strain in Turkish-U.S relations over the presence of Kurdistan Workers' Party militants in northern Iraq, CNN-Turk reported July 26, citing a phone conversation between Erdogran and Bush. Turkish officials reportedly sid Erdogan likely will not make an official visit until he forms his new government.
